It was mostly entertaining and the writing was a lot better than other books I’ve come across, that have similar stories. Buuut the ending was out of left field and so confusing. I get that the author meant to leave it in a Cliffhanger but it felt rushed, like the direction of the story changed all of a sudden. Sooo I went and looked at reviews for the second and third books, and I don’t think I’ll be reading them, at least not anytime soon.
