Josiah & Yas relationship and inner strength throughout this entire book kept me on my toes! I literally had to pace myself to not read this book in 3 days lol. I loved it. Haven’t been reading novels in a long time but this book had me hooked. I connected more to the characters. Especially a woman like me that has experienced some relationship trauma and has been through therapy to heal, I connected even more. My mouth dropped when it ended with an engagement. I wanted more from Yas and Si, but I guess the book had to end at some point. I wish I had a man to be so in love with me like that. Great job!

One of the best slow burn novels I’ve ever read

This is a beautiful story. So much nuance. Breathtakingly real characters and storyline. I loved it!

This novel was excellent, but it was a tough read. It was tough, because the emotions experienced by the male and female protagonists was so very palpable. I cried with them and laughed with them. I couldn’t put the book down and it was bittersweet when I finished.

This book was so well written that Yaz,Si, and myself were BFFs😀. I was sucked into every page. I’m getting the second book immediately.

Read the book every night before bed it kept me interested and wanting more. Great read
